“‘Moonlighting in Moffatt’ involves the true story of Paddy and Jimmy Kenniff, two young, high-spirited brothers who lived life to the full, testing the system as they went about their ‘business’.”

“Some folk think that creativity is simply inspiration that seems to drop into a person’s head from out of nowhere, and then gushes forth as a torrent of words, images, objects or music. That’s not so. The Kenniff story seeped into my mind many years ago & took years of tracking as a ghost memory floating on the wind that few people had noticed. My body of work entitled ‘Moonlighting in Moffatt’, grew into a lengthy investigation of personal experience & survival. In the process of making the images,k I found myself thinking as a lens through which others might view happenings from the past. The exhibition became a pictorial story that unlocks a treasure trove of Australian history for everyone to access.”
